DESIGN FOR A BUTTON.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,890, dated May 6, 1902. Application filed April 1 1902. Serial No. 100,985. Term of patent 3% years.

Be it known that I, ELLISON T. HARKRADER, of the city of St. Louis, State of Missouri, have invented and produced a. new and original Design for a, Button, of which the following is a. full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a pert hereof.

Figure 1 is a. front elevation of a button embodying my new design. Fig. 2 is a top plan view.

As shown, the leading or essential feature of my new design for a. button comprises the central stem 3, having the three points at its upper end, as shown, and a conventionaldiamend at its lower end, the ereseentat uniting with the upper part of the stem 3 to form the letter P, the script L joined to the lower part and upon the left-hand side of the stem 3, and the script E joined to the lower part of the stem 3 and upon the right-hand side thereof, all of the peculiar form and configure tion shown and comprising the letters L P E." The fastener 7 projects backwardly from the center of the button.

I claim The design for a button, substantially as herein shown and described.
