DESIGN FOR FABRIC.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,332, dated April 2, 1901.

Application led March 8, 1901. Serial No. 50,396. Term of patent 14: years.

Beit known that I, ISAAC E. PALMER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Middletown, in the county of Middlesex and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Fabric, of which the following is a specification.

The essential feature of my design consists of a fabric in which the threads running in one direction, as the warp-threads, are arranged in groups of three, the two outer threads of each group crossing each other at intervals, forming a series of loops, and the middle thread of each group extending along the crossing-points of the outer two and midway of the loops formed by the other two, the said loops in a series being transversely opposite the crossings in adjacent series, the threads running in another direction, as the weft-threads, passing in zigzag form between the sides of the loops and the middle thread and presenting an arrangement in which each thread of the group, and B the zigzag weftthread.

The design for a fabric, substantially as herein shown and described.
