FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a pneumatic tire tread and buttress showing one embodiment of our new design, it being understood that the pattern is repeated throughout the circumferenece of the tread and buttress, the opposite side being substantially the same as that shown;

FIG. 2 is a front elevational view of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1;

FIG. 3 is a side elevational view of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1;

FIG. 4 is an enlarged fragmentary front elevational view of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1;

FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a pneumatic tire tread and buttress showing a second embodiment of our new design, it being understood that the pattern is repeated throughout the circumference of the tread and buttress, the opposite side being substantially the same as that shown;

FIG. 6 is a front elevational view of the embodiment shown in FIG. 5;

FIG. 7 is a side elevational view of the embodiment shown in FIG. 5; and,

FIG. 8 is an enlarged fragmentary front elevational view of the embodiment shown in FIG. 5.
