DESIGN FOR A STAND FOR CHAFlNG-DlSHES.
To @ZL whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, LOUIS WoJlnKow, a. citi# zen of the United States, residing at New York, (Brooklyn,) county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented and produced a. new and original Design for Stands for Chafing-Dishes, of which the following is a specioation, reference being had to the aecompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The drawing shows a perspective View of my design for a stand for eliangdishes.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists of uprights or legs, which curve inwardly from the top of the stand toward the intermediate portion thereof and below the intermediate portion are bent outwardly and inwardly into volutes.
The stand consists of a topring A, a central lowerbottom ring B,wl1iehis much smaller than the top ring, and uprights C, which are formed at the top with volutes C', are bent abruptlyinwardly toward the ring B, and are bent outwardly and inwardly into `volutes C?, which extend below the ring B. Run around the top ring A at one edge is a continuons rolling or open-loop scroll D, formed of eonnected node-shaped eonvolutions. A similar ornamental scroll D' is also run around the lower ring B.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design for a stand for a chafingdish substantially as herein shown and described.
