DESIGN FOR A CASE FOR REGISTERS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,175, dated August 9, 1898.
Application filed July 5, 1898. Serial No. 685,179. Term of patent 14 years.
To (tZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CURTIS HUSSEY VEEDER, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city of Hartford, county of Hartford, State of Connecticut, have invented a certain new and original Design for Cases for Registers, of which the following is a specification, reference beinghad to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.
My invention relates to designs for cases or shells for registers, such as cyclometers and other like instruments; and it consists in a case having the shape and configuration substantially as shown in the accompanying drawings, in which Figures 1, 2, and 3 are respectively a plan View, a side elevation, and an end elevation of a case or shell which embodies my design.
Referring to the drawings, it will be seen that in accordance with my design the case or shell, when viewed in side elevation, presents the appearance of an elongated octagon having the two long sides a a and at each end the three shorter faces I) b. Seen in end View or in plan View the case is substantially rectangular ,in outline, and in the broad face a, corresponding to the long sides a a of the octagon, are two transverse parallel openings c c. The leading features of my design may be described as the elongated octagonal body with the transverse parallel openings in the broad side.
What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a case for registers, sub stantially as shown and described.
