DESIGN FOR A CLAMPlNG-ARM FOR PAN-LIFTERS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,893, dated November 23, 1897.

Be it known that I, GEORGE E. COLE, a citizen of the United States, residing at South Bend, in the county of St. Joseph and State of Indiana, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Clamping-Arm for Pan-Lifters, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a pan-lifter clamping-arm, which is illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
Figure l is a perspective View of a clamping-arm embodying the features of my design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation, and Fig. 3 is a plan View, of the same.
The leading features of the design consist in a handle having an enlargement midway its length in the form of a disk, one end of the handle having an enlargement, the enlargement being concavo-convex in transverse cross-section and arranged at a slight acute angle to the handle.
1 designates the handle, having a diskshaped enlargement 2 substantially midway the length of the same, the enlargement hav ing a projection 3 upon one side of the same, as shown. From the enlargement the handle is curved in opposite directions in the form of an ogee curve, one end terminating in an enlargement 4, arranged at an acute angle to the handle, the enlargement being eoncavoconvex in transverse cross-seetion-that is, the outer side is concave and the inner side convex in form.
hat I claim is- The design for a clamping-arm for pan-lifters, substantially as herein shown and described.
