DESIGN FOR A HANDLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,782, dated October 22, 1895.

Application filed June 26, 1895- Serial No. 554,161. Term ofpetent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern;

Be it known that I, FREDERICK R. IIIRSH, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Handles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

The drawing is a front view of a handle, showing my design.

The leading feature of my design consists in the Romanesque leaves located on the extensions or end plates and the vermiforrn or interlacing bands having circular portions and loops or coils and located in front of the leaves.

The drawing represents a handle having a hand-hold or bar and end extensions or plates.

Extending from the hand-hold or bar are 20 vermiform bands, having a series of loops located between the circular body portions of the bands and the periphery of the extensions or plates. Within and without and located apparently beneath the circular body portions are Romanesque leaves providing ornamental seats for the bands.

Having thus described my invention, the following is what I claim as new therein and desire to secure by Design Letters Patent:

The design for a handle, substantially as herein shown and described.
