INVENTO/i Md, ni Mm I By 14 W lit/k /CL 4 44A) uromvsr UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
DESlGN FOR A CASE FOR ELECTRICAL MEASURING-INSTRUMENTS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,288, dated May 22, 1894. Application filed April 13, 1894. Serial No. 507,465- Tarm of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDWARD WESTON, of Newark, Essex county New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Electrical Measuring-Instrument Cases. of which the following is a specification.
The accompanying drawing shows an electrical instrument case of my design in perspeetive.
The leading and characteristic feature of my design is the five-sided configuration of the instrument case, the said figure showing one curved side and four straight sides disposed so as to exhibit four salient angles and one re-entering angle.
The sides of the case, one of which is shown at A, are flat and parallel. The edge of the periphery of the case is much narrower in width than the side A, and shows the follow- :0 ing portions: first a curved portion, B, adjacent to which is a straight portion, 0. At right angles to the straight portion 0 is a straight portion, D. At right angles to straight portion D and parallel to straight portion,C 25 is a straight portion E. Between the curved portion B and the straight portion E extends a straight portion, F.
I claim- The design for a case for electrical measur- 3o ing instruments substantially as hereinbefore shown and described.
