DESIGN FOR A MILK-MUG.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,419, dated March 22, 1892. Q Application filed February 15, 1892. Serial No. 421,688- Term of patent 14 years.

To all, whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, FRANK K. WARD, a citizen of the United States, residing at \Vashington, in the District of Columbia, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Milk-Mugs, of which the following is a specification.

This design has for its object to provide a novel, ornamental, and handsome mug; and the leading feature thereof resides in a mug tapering rectilinearly from its base nular outwardly-flaring rim and provided with a handle extending from a point below the rim to a point in juxtaposition to the base of the mug.

The design is illustrated by the accompanying drawing, in which the figure is a perspeetive view of a mug embodying my design In the accompanying drawing the numeral 1 indicates the body of the mug,which tapers rectilinearly from the base 2 to the annular outwardly-flaring rim 3, which constitutes the month of the mug. The mug is provided with a handle 8, which extends from a point in juxtaposition to the flaring rim 3 to a point in juxtaposition to the lowermost band 4, and the lower end portion ot the handle terminates in the form of an oxs or cows tail, as at 9. In this example of my design the mug is provided at opposite sides of the handle with medallions 10, which, as shown, extend across one of the annular bands 4.

The design provides a milk or beer mug which is novel, ornamental, handsome, and very attractive in appearance.

What I claim is- The design for a mug, shown and described.
