Be it known that l, Mmrrm W. tann, a eiti zen ot' the United States, residing at Homer ville, in the eounty of hliddlesex, Stateol'hlassaehusetts, have invented and prodneed a new and original Design for l lasels or Picture-Supports, ot'whieh the following i. a full, clear, and exact description, reterenee being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a liillifttlf this SDUtiltlCtltlOll, in which the figure is an isometrieal perspective view of this newl designed easel.

The leading fealnre ol my design consists of a series otstandards, A, representin5 stems ot the ealla'lily plant eonrerging toward their upper extremities and diverging in enrves above said pointot' com'ergenre, their extreme tips representing the flowers of said plant, and a standard, 11, converging to the pointxol' eoir vergence of the standards A and passing up Ward therefrom, its tip represent ing a flower of the said plant.
