Be it known that I, La Vergne Gammon, a citizen of the United States, residing at Bo ota, in the county of Bergen and State of New Jersey, have invented a, new, original, and ornamental Design for a Hat or the like, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a front perspective view of a hat, showing my new design.

Fig. 2 is a side view thereof looking in the direction of line 2--2 of Fig. 1.

Fi 3 is a vertical sectional view taken on the line 3-3 of Fig. 1.

Fig. 4 is a rear elevational view, on reduced scale, of the hat shown in Fig. 1.

I claim: The ornamental design for a hat or the like, as shown.
