My invention relates to eyeglass mountings of the swinging guard arm t -yp'e',a'nd
rovide a convenguard relatively to the plane of the lenses, also transversely thereto; to provide a simple device for interlocking the guardand arm and which will prevent excessive rotary travel of the guard relatively to the arm;
