To all whom it may concern: I Be it known that I, HEINRICH OTTO BEIGE, a subject of the Emperor of Germany, residing in Halle-on-the-Saale, Ger- Lamp or Like, Holders,

many, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Incandescent Electric of which the follow ing 1s a specification. J

The present invention relates to a holder or socket for incandescent electric lamps or the like, said holder or socket consisting chiefly of insulating material-and difiering' from known sockets of this kind in the very simple construction of the contacts and of the switch.

What I claim as my inventlon and desire to secure byLetters Patent is 1. In an incandescent electric lamp or like holder the combination of a sleeve for, receiving the base. of the lamp, a plug removably insertible in saidsleeve and through which the supply conductors can be led a pillarf'on said plug, the end of which forms the central contact-and a lateral projectionon said plug forming a terminal and a connection to said sleeve.

2. In an incandescent electric lamp or like holder the combination of'a sleeve for receiving'the base of the lamp, a plug removably insertible in one end of said sleeve and through which the supply conductors can be led, a pillar on said plug, a metal sleeve on the end of said pillar" forming the central contact and a lateral projection on said plug formingta terminal and a connectionto said sleeve.

In an incandescent electric lamp or like holder the combination of a sleeve for receiving the base of the lamp, a plug removably insertible in one end of said sleeve and through which the supply conductors can beled, a pillar on said plug, a metal sleeve on the end of said pillar attached to it by a screw and forming the central contact and a lateral'projection on said plug forming a terminal and a connection to said sleeve.

In an incandescent electric lamp or like holder the combination of a sleeve for receiving the base of the lamp, a pluga'emovably insertible in one end of said sleeve and through which the supply conductors can be led, a pillar on said plug, a metal sleeve on the end of said pillar forming the central contact and a member having lugs for atktaching it to said plug, a pin projecting -".from said member forming a terminal and a 1 connection to said sleeve.

' 5. In an incandescent electric lamp or like contact, a member having lugs for attaching it to said plug, a pin projecting from said member forming a terminal, and a screw passing through said sleeve and-adapted to act as a switch by making contact between said pin and said sleeve.

In an incandescent electric lamp or like holder the combination of a sleeve of in- 'sulating material for receiving the base of the lamp, a metal strip or tongue on the inner side of said sleeve forming a contact for making connection-t0 the lamp or the like, a plug removably insertible in said sleeve and through which the supply conductors can be led, a

8. In an incandescent electric lamp or like holder the combination of a sleeve for receiving the base of the lamp, a plug removably insertible in one end of said sleeve and through which the supply conductors can be led,'a pillar on said plug the end of which forms the central contact, a lateral projection on said plug forming a terminaland connection to said sleeve and an insulating partition between said pillar and said projection.
