To all whom 'it may concern:
Be it known t-hat l, BENNETT F. Seminar, a citizen of the United States, residing at Mansfield, in the county of Richland and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Adjustable Concrete-Forms; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and Iuse the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon, which it'orm a part of this specification.` Y i lhis invention relates to new and useful improvements in apparatus for erecting concrete construction of buildings and especially a hollow Wall, ythus preventing any dampness to the inside'wall, and comprises a simple and efficient-device of this nature having various details of construction and combinations and arrangements ot' parts which will be hereinafter fully described and then specifically defined in the appended claim.
I illustrate my invention in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure l is a perspective view showing a section of a Wall made in accordance with .my invention and illustrating` the mold plates in their proper positions to mold the Wall. Fig. 2 isa vertical sectional'view through a section of the wall. Fig. 3 is an enlarged detail View of Vone of the ties, and Fig. 4 is a detail view ot' one of the cores.
Reference now being had to the details of the drawings by letter, A, A designate mold plates, preferably of metal of suitable gage, cach of which has an outwardly extending flange l-l at its upper end, to receive the lower edge of a superimposed plate. Each plate is provided with apertures C for the reception of the members lll, each of which has two arms E adapted to extend through the apertures F in the cores F. The cxtreme ends of said arms'are contracted as at G and have apertures G for the reception of keys J. A

A ferrule, designated by letter T, is placed on the tie and adapted to hold the core farther from the forms, enabling one to cast a thicker wall if desired In the end of the core, it will be noted, is a cross-shaped member 'serving to hold the telescopic cores apart. lt will be noted that, by the provision of a device as shown and described, a simple and eflicientapparatus is afforded for economil cally constructing vconcrete, walls and providing means for regulating a space between the wall sections and holding the same securely vspaced apart. While I have described a hollouT wall construction, it will be understood that. the form may be utilized if desired with solid walls.
What l claim to be new is f An adjustable apparatus for molding concrete walls, comprising a series of apertured plates with flanges upon the edges thereof', flanged cores telescoping one within the other and having aperturestherein, ties having each a cylindrical shank portion engaging one of said cores and extending through' muapcrtnre Yiu'one of said plates, integral aims projecting from said cylindrical shank portion and passing through the core and one of said plates, the end of each cylindri- Vcal shank portion of the tie being bent to form key-holding means, and a key engaged by said bent portions and bearing against the adjacent plate.
