thereby freeing the plow frame from the motor and obviously prevent damage being done to the plow'or its frame.
In l igs. (3 and 7, the plow is especially ployment of means for auton'iatically releasing the plow frame from its connection with the draft. In this form of the invention, the forward gage Wheel frame and the rear gage wheel frame are connected by a link 25 so that they will swing together. The forward, gage wheel frame is provided with a hand lever 26 by means of which said frames may he sinniltaneously operated to raise or lower the plow.
What I claim as my invcntiop is fl. A=plow comprising a supporting frame, a pivot bolt carried by the forward end thereof, a gage wheel fram'e detachably con nected to said pivot bolt, a coupling frame pivotally connected to said gage wheel frame, dogs carried by the gage wheel frame for normally retaining the same engaged with said pivot bolt, and means carried by said cou giling frame for releasing said dogs.
A plow comprisii'igasupporting frame, a gage wheel frame detachably connected thereto, coupling frame pivotally connected to said gage wheel frame, means for normally retaining said gage Wheel frame engaged with the supporting frame, and means actuated by the coupling frame for releasing the gage wheel frame.
A plow comprising a supporting lrame, a, pivot boltcarried by the forward end thereof, a gage wheel frame loosely mounted on said frame, a draft coupling pivotally connected to said gage wheel frame, dogs carried by the gage wheel frame and normally engaging said pivot bolt, and springs connecting said dogs to said draft coupling.
4. A plow comprising a supporting frame formed of spacedparallel members, a pivot bolt connecting the forward ends of said members, a gage wheel frame detachably engaging said pivot bolt, means for normally retainlng said gage wheel frame in a pivotal engagement with said bolt, a coupling frame pivotally connected to said gage wheel frame, and means carried by said coupling frame for releasing the gage wheel frame from said pivotbolt.
A plow comprisinga supporting frame, a pivot bolt at the forward end thereof, a gage wheel frame provided with slots for detachable pivotal engagement with said bolt, dogs carried by said gage wheel frame for normally holding said gage Wheel frame engaged with said bolt, a coupling frame pivotally connected to said gage wheel frame,
5 and springs carried by said coupling frame and engaging said dogs.
In testimony whereof I hereunto afiix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
