This invention relates to ininers caps and lamps. v The ob]eet of theA invention resides in providing a ininei"s cap with an electric -lainp whereby the possibility of .explosion of gas, as far-as such explosions Aare due to vthe lamps used by miners, is obviated.

' A further object of the invention resides in a new and improved means for securing tli'euelectric lamp and its reflector to the cap and in S'o mounting the elect-ric lainp that saine may be adjusted with respect to the red ilectoithat the rays ot' light issuing there;
