Having described my invention what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is: v

1. The combination in a. fountain pen of a pen body having a finger opening in its` lateral wall, a cap for said body adapted for arrangement upon either end thereof, -sald cap being adapted when arranged upon either end of said body to cover said finger opening, substantially as described.

2.
