The overhanging portion 9 of the frame is spaced apart from the finger or extension- 12 so as to allow the car to be easily removed from the supporting cable 1. A roller 31 is carried bythe other supporting frame 3 and is supported between the finger12 and one side of the supporting frame 3 in the same manner as the lever 22.
The wire 31 is so positioned as to allow the car to easily travel over the cables 1 and' 2, even though the cable 2 should sag and come into engagement with the roller'3l.
What I claim is 1. A device of the class described, comprising a supporting frame, a seat carried thereby, a lever member carried by said supporting frame, and means carried -by said levermember and adapted to be controlled by the foot of the operator for'supporting or raising a wire supporting cable in a desired position relative to the linemans cable below said main or supporting cable, lever means carried by said framework and adapted to engage said wire sup orting cable for raising the same to'a desired height relative to the main supporting cable, and means enga ing said lever member for allowing-"the free operation of the lever member the operator.
3. In a device of thefclass described, the combination with a'main supporting cable,
and a wire supporting cable, of a linemans.

A device of the class described, comprisin a pair of end frames, said frames I provi ed with lower looped-ends, a seatsupported by said lowerv ooped-ends ofrsaid supporting frames, rollers carried by the upperaerds, of said frames and adapted to engage-the supporting cable forsuspending frames and adapted to supporting wire, a lever the same in a desire the chair therefrom, and strengthening means engaging the top of said frames for connecting the same. 5. A device of the class describedcomprising a pair of end frames, a seat supported between the lower ends thereof, said frames provided with overhangin upper ends, connecting means engaging t e u per ends of said frames, rollers supported said overhanging ends of said frames, and roller means supported by said frames intermediate the said first-mentioned rollers and the between said frames, the upper end of said -frames'provided, with an overhanging portion, a roller-positioned between said overhanging portion, and the main portion of said frame, a finger formed upon said frames and spaced apart from said overhanging portion thereby allowing the car to be easily removed or placed upon the su porting cable, and means hingedly secure to said finger and adapted to engage said overhanging portion for closing said opening and preventing the removal of the'car from the supporting cable.

A device of the class described comprising a plurality of supporting frames provided with lower looped ends, a seat supported by said looped-ends and connecting the lower ends of said frames, 'each frame provided with an overhanging upper end provided with a depending POI'tlOIl, ter-.; minating short of the looped end of the frame, said frame provided with an upwardly extending finger terminating short of the depending portion of said overhanging end, a roller carried by said overhanging end, a hinged member carried b said upwardly extending finger, an eye et carried by said de nding member of said overhanging'en said hinged member provided with a slot adapted to pass over said eyelet, and a hook carried by said hin ed member and adapted to pass through sald eyelet for holding'the hinged member in a locked position and closing the opening between said depending portion, and said upwardly extending finger of said frame. a
8. A devlce of the class described, comprising a plurality of frames, rollers carried y the upper ends thereof, a seat carried by the lower ends of. said frames, and rollers carried by'said frames interposed between said seat and said first-mentioned rollers.
