Jersey City. county of Hudson, and State of New Jersey, have invented a certain new and useful Amusement Device, of which the iiollownig is a specification.
lhis invention is an amusement device of that type known as a see-saw, though certain features ot-the invention are adapted for purposes other than that of a see-saw,
The features of novelty embodied in the device include, among-other things.- a novel form of pedestal or stand adapted to be readily folded into a closed position when not in use and to be locked, when desired. into an operative position; a novel. form of bearing for the teeter-board, and a member secured to the teeter-board and cooperating with said bearing whereby the ,teeterboard may oscillate upon the bearing without displacement.
The pedestal. or stand is composed of two members. substantially semi-circular in shape, and pivoted whereby"thcy may be positioned within the same plane, which is their inoperative position, or. swung into planes at right angles to each other, which is their operative or supporting position. The upper one of said members is provided with suitable means, preferably-iii the form of latches, whereby said members may be readily locked or unlocked.
