Though I prefer to employ a separate reservoir for increasing .the train` pipe pressure, I may, in some' cases, utilize a single reservoir or other source of' pressure for sup# plying fluid to the opposite sides of the .abut-ment 14.
My invention may be applied to various other constructions adapted to graduate the release of the brakes, and the auxiliary valve may be dispensed with, if' desired, though by its use a more sensitive device is obtained,
