Be it known that l, WILLIAM C. lVs'rsc-N, a citizen of the UnitedStat-es, resiiiing in. the city and county of Camden, State of New Jersey, have invented a new and use ful Device for l'l ster-Qurfacing Fsper, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to sn'ew 1 device for Water siu'faeing paper sists in providing an sdjustably mounted pipe or pipes for conveying Water to a point adjacent the discharge.
It further consists of means for regulating the height of the Water in the pipe or pines.

1 have found in Water surfacing paper, it is essential that the proper amount of Water is applied. In the drawing, 1 have shown a construction which Ihsve found in practice to give satisfactory and reliable results, although it is to he understood that changes may he made in the construction, the a rrangeinent the parts may he vsrieri and other instruinentsiities may he employetl which will come Within the scope of the invention and I do not therefore desire to he limiiml in every instance to the exact construction as herein shown and clescriberl but desire to maize such changes may be, necessary.
