To all whom i i may concern.
Be it known that I, ROBERT W. R os, a citizen of the United States, residing at- Cleveland, in the county of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Ozone-Generators;
and I do declare the following to be a full,

This invention relates ozone generators.
One object of the invention is to provide a simple and improved construction of ozone generator by means of which air passing into to improvements in contact therewith will be purified or converted into ozone.
Another object is to provide a device of this character the construction and arrangementof which provides for or permits the capacity of the generator to be increased or diminished when desired.
\Vith the foregoing and other objects in view, the invention consists of certain novel features of construction," combination and arrangement of parts, as will be more fully described and particularly pointed out in the appended claims.

In the embodiment of my invention, I provide a suitable box or casing 1, which is divided into upper and lower compartments by a transverse partition 2. The casing l is provided with suitable openings to permit the passage of air theret-hrough. In the lower compartment of the caslng 1 is arranged a transformer 3, which is connected by conducting wires 4 to a suitable electric generator.

The lowermost section of the stack is preferably supported on suitable projections 12 arranged on the partition 2 of -the casing, as shown.
It will thus be seen that any number of generator sections may be arranged in the box or casing 1, thus increasing or diminishing the capacity of the device. The upper and lower platinum plates 6 of each of the generator sections are connected to current conducting wires 13, which extend upwardly from' the transformer through a suitable 4 passage 14 in the partition 2 being connectedwith the plates 6 along one side of the section, as shown. By means of the transformer 3 a high potential current. may be pro-- duced and conducted to the platinum plates 6 which engage the .dielectric plate 5 and cause a blue flame to be emitted from the perforations so that theair passing through the box or casing and into contact with the generators is purified or converted into ozone.

What I claim is: 1. In a device of the character described, a plate formed of dielectric material, perforated electrode plates arranged on opposite sidesof said dielectric plate, said electrodes which engage the opposite sides of said dielectric p ate, clamping frames adapted to hold said electrode plates in position, arms formed on the opposite edges of said plates, rubber bands engaged with said arms whereby the clamping plates are held in operative engagement with the electrode plates, and means on said arms to engage the arms of the clamping plates of an adjacent gen- I erator.
