In a pulverizer, a casing, a shaft mounted foi` rotation therein, an adjustable frame mounted on.the`shaft, which' frame comprisesdisks andinclined rods, a series of revolving hammers pivotally mounted and spaced apartlupon the inclined rods, and means carried by the shaft whereby the hammersare held to move radially with respect to the shaft when the frame is adjusted upon.
6. In a pulverizemacasing, a shaft mounted for rotation therein, a pair of disks fixed on the shaft and provided with radial slots, inclined rods passing through said slots, sliding disks mounted on theshaft and engaging the ends of the inclined' rods, revolv ing hammers votally mounted on the rods between the xed disks, spacing rings carried by the rods between the hammers, means whereby the sliding disks areshifted upon the shaft, and means whereby the rod-.shifting means is locked after movement.
