Thus, a plurality of ground ,telephone circuits are, established. For instance, the ground circuits between Stations A, B, and the loft'handside of stai n C, can communicate with each other; likewise, stations E, F and G; but the repeating coils prevent intercommunicatio'n over these ground circuits from one tandem circuit to the other. These grounded telephone circuits at the stations C, E and G, for instance, are provided with iteys 33, which permit a station telephone set at said stations to be connected to either the right-- hand or left hand tandem, vthus obviating the necessity of two telephone sets at these.
