Be it known that l, ALBERT GLENN LUKnN- BILL, a citizen ofthe United States, and a resident of Fueblo, county of Pueblo, and State of Colorado, liaveinvented anew and useful Improvement in Canvas Camping De' ment are first, to provide in one.,connected Acanvas device a tent' that may betised in various forms, among them an A tent with` carpet, asunshade, a walltent, a hospital tent, a sleeping bag, a hammock and a stretcher; second, to provide facilities for ad4 justing the device for the different uses, all in one construction; third, to provide a device` Vfor the uses stated that may be readily adjusted in small space for transportation and so arranged in construction and form, to

My canvas device in the form l have de signed for attaining the several uses as set forth is found in Fig. '1 and consists of a rec tan ular parallelogram of canvas cloth inclu ed within the lines AHA, O, C, and may y be constructed all as one part or with seams at lines the portion included within the lines A, A and B, B will constitute the roof of the tent, in which, at the apex, reinforcing rings leere placed for upright end poles gable pieces 1, being four in number, are in the form of a right angled triangle, the hyrefer to similar parts;

To employ the device as a wall tent a telescopic ridge pole is extended by pulling pipes- 23 outwardly from including pipe 22 and securing them by set screw 2li; end

Having thus described my device so that 'one versed in the art could construct and use the same, and knowing that canvases'have been made adaptable to similar uses what l .claim is 1. in a canvas 'cam in device composed of a sheet of fabric in tlie fgcrm of a'rectangular parallelogram, four end Wall pieces, four triangular gable pieces, saidend `Wall pieces and gable pieces being sepaatefrom each other, each end wall piece and each triangular gable piece attached to said parallelogram, engaging and registerin snaps and rings at the ends of said end Wal pieces, substantially as described.
