State of New York, have invented certain new and useful improvements in Railway- Frogs, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanydrawings, forming a part hereof.
My invention relates particularly to means for securely holding the parts of a railway l frog in their proper positions with relation to each other, and the invention consists in the new and novel features of construction in means for wedging and securely holding the parts together in proper position.
By this constriu-tion the number of parts in a frog block is greatly reduced. instead of bolts the parts are held together by projecl'ions which are integral with the block 05 i self and which permit keys or cotters to be used. instead of nuts or nut locks. Greater safety results and the liability of the parts of the frog working apart is reduced to a minimum. The parts of the frog are readily and quickly assembled and in case of wear or injury the damaged part can be easily removed and. replaced.

The frog comprises the main rails A, the wing rails B and the frog block C in the usual manner.
