Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters atent:
In a brooch, a metal body member having a cavity therein, and a catch member having a shank with an enlarged head on said shank, the under face of said head seating on the wall formed by the bottom of said cavity, and a pair of lips integral with said body and composed of the metal displaced by the formation of said cavity, said lips seating on the top face of said head.
