a specification, referdrawing My invention relates to telephones, and articularly ,to (lBSli'SE'tS. It has for its object to facilitate the connection and tjsconnectiono" the operative parls of the desk set, to'enable one standard stand to be used for several different types of instrument, to increase the economy of manufacture, and generally to improve the efficiency of the instrument.
