IMPROVEMENT IN CHURN-DASHERS.
The Schedule referred to in these Lettersl Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, J AMES M. BUCHANAN, of Lawrenceville, in the county'of Lawrence, and State of Illinois, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Churn-Dashers: and I do hereby 'declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof,
Awhich will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference heilig had to the accom'- panying drawings, forming part of this specification.
This invention relates to improvements in churndashers, such as are used with the common handdasher churus, and consists in the construction of the same in a manner calculated to produce greater agitation to the cream.

I form the rim A, hub B, and large arm C, from a solid block of wood, by suitable. means, and introduce the tapered pins D through radial holes in the rim, insertingV their inner ends in the hub, and securing them by wedges or otherwise, as preferred.
This construction produces a simple, cheap, and very effective dasher, as will be readily understood.
The handle may be set in a hole in the centre, in
the usual manner.
