This case is of an ova. or flattened forni end view and the lower end is left open" forreceiving the removable bottom or closure plete 1l that is provided with any .suitable ack 12, which as shown has a notched cross bolt 13 secured on the outer end of an ordinary longitudinali f 'slidi'nfr lock bolt 22. forf engaginfP suitable inner sides of the case. When the lock bolt is forced into the lock case for unlocking, the
notches in the ross bolt register with the' lugs or keepers 14, on either side of the case, so that the bottom and connected parts may be pulled out of or put mto the case, and
when the boltV is iol-eed outwardly by the nnoper key so that thenotchcs in the cross ugs or reepers 14 on therA bolt do not register with vthe lugs, the botl' tom is locked so that thc bottom cannot be 'tsken out of or pnt into the case.

The case is permanently closed by a top plate 1T secured in an proper manner,v as for example, by means of lugs 1S on the iiiner side wall of the case to which the plate 17 may be' secured by means of rivets or screws 40. An opening 19 is also made in this top plate through which to pitt bills into the bank. ll'e also provide the bank with .a bail o r liasp 20 at or near one of the upper corners so that the bank may be hung upon a hook or pin in the wall of it house, or may be locked by a padlock to any suitti'oie staple onkeeper tliatis fastened to son* i immovable part of the building or other fastening, and# thus secure. the bank against being carried oli by an unauthorized partj 'e secure this i sp '20 to the bank by me. of a Inf:f '21 to w. h the liasp is pivoted. said lng having a T shaped lower end the.; may be )assed through a hole vin the top plate 17 before the plate is secured in pla unil then slipped sidewise into a notch in cof the lugs on the case, so that when the top y' 'ilate is secured the hasp will be iirnrljr locked to one of the side walls of the cese through the said lug 1S and none of the strain on the hasp will come on the top plate.
The money cells are mainly)Y formed s two part ldevice divided longitudinally and consisting of the separable parts B and ff. Each part has three coin conoavities '13, and "lo, arranged end for ciid one above it e other near one side, and two coin conci; tics 2U and .7 ont` above the other near the other side. while the u'iier middle portion has a cavity 3S for holding bills.
