We claim as our invention:

In a photographic developing apparatus, the combination with a receptacle having a fluid'tight cover, of a removable plate rack contained within the receptacle and conforming substantially in width and thickness to the interior configuration of the latter, the interior of; said rack being accessible for the insertion of plates only from a face adj acent a side wall of the receptacle.
