The blades C (l, with spiral spring between i them, are inserted in slot J in the pole end, and secured by the rivet D. When the eye of the yoke is pulled onover the end of the pole A, the shoulders, or projecting points of j 1 the blades CC are depressed, but spring back to position when the yoke has been drawn up against the collar B. To release the yoke,
C C are depressed by the thumb and finger.
F is a stiff spiral spring which keeps the projecting points or shoulders in place.
E E and H are stops to prevent C C from turning, around in slot J.
