l believe l am the iirst to provide the drum or feeding mechanism for manipulating the strip of a cash-recorder with means whereby the feeding movement of the strip or of the drinn may be instantly checked at the end of its predetermined stroke, thus preventing any ove running of the feeding movement, and hence this invention is not limited to the exact device or lever shown as constituting the drum-locking mechanism. The roll or strip paper is supported at its ends on conical pe ited journals 50 and 5l, the journal 50 beingiixed in a stand 52, while the jonrnal 5l is movable in a stand 53. (See Fig. Il.)
