This inventionrelates to an improvement in bag-fillers and is especially adapted for grocers use. Its object is to produce a device simple and economical in construction and operation, easily and readily assembled for use and taken apart for transportation, &c., and provided with means whereby the and readily removed therefrom.

Encircling and fitting closely to the sleeve E, near the upper and lower ends thereof, are the substantially circular ends f g of the support F and arm G of the bracket, respectively. At the points f g', however, said ends are preferably a sufficient distance from the sleeve E to permit the passage thereunder of the lug c for tlie purpose hereinafter described. Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

A bag-filler consisting of the standard, a detachable cap thereon, a pulley mounted in said cap, a sleeve mounted on said standard, a counterpoised, forked bag-supporting hracket,loops at theinner ends of said bracket adapted to encircle the sleeve, a lug on said sleeve adapted to lock the loops thereon, and a funnel separate from, and adapted to rest upon, the forks of the bracket, said funnel having a horizontal iiangeornied thereon above its lower end,substantially as described.
