The reference-numeral l is a guideway secured to the front lower corner of. the doorcasing.
2 is a foot-piece riveted to slide-bar 3 and sliding in said guideway. The wire 4 connects slide-bar 3 to lever5, pivoted on plate 6 at 13. Said plate is secured to the front upper corner of the door casing. lVire 7 connects said lever 5 to rack-bar 8 at 16.
