I claim as my invention 1. In a system of compensating levers, a pair of levers arranged substantially parallel and having abutting faces, one of said faces being curved, and a support for one of the levers adapted to permit longitudinal movement thereof, as described.

The combination with a pair of compensating levers arranged substantially parallel and having abutting faces, one of said faces and its armature, of a pair of compensating levers, wheteby a constantly increasing resistance is opposed to the attraction of the magnet upon its armature, one of said levers being mounted upon a support permittinglongitudinal movement of said lever, substan- "tially as described.
