ADHESIVE COM POSITION.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 532,715, dated January 15, 1895. Application filed m 2, 1894. Serial no. 516,364. (No Specimens.)
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HEINRICH WAGNER, of New York city, New York, have invented an Improved Adhesive, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to an adhesive more particularly designed for attaching paper labels to metal, though the adhesive may also be employed for other purposes.
In preparing my improved adhesive, I dissolve about three parts of sulphate of copper in twenty parts of water, and add four parts of sugar and three parts of nitric acid, together with a sufficient quantity of dextrine to obtain the proper consistency. The mixture is preferably allowed to stand in closed H. WAGNER.
