This invention relates to anew and improved machine for cutting hoops for barrels, casks, &c.; and it consists in themployment or use of two circular knives, arranged with guides and rollers, as hereinafter set forth, whereby the work maybe vdone rapidly and in a perfect manner. j Y

A represents a framing, which may be 'constructed in any proper manner to support the Working part, and B is a driving-shaft placed thereon, having y upon it a'toothed wheel. l Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The rotating kn'ves Gr K and guides M M', in combination wi the rollers H. N for bending the hoops as they are cut, all substantially as 'and for the purposes set forth.
