To all whom it may concern:

Be it known -that we, TYLER ANDREWS, of Boston, county of Sufiolk, State of- Massachusetts, and JAMES H. FITZPATR'ICK, of Medford, county of Middlesex, State of Massachusetts, have invented an Improvement in Devices for Preveu ting Burglaries, Trespasses, &c., of

This invention has for-its object to provide a novel device to prevent burglaries, drc.

This invention is not limited to the particular arrangement and construction of device herein shown, as it is evident the same may be varied in many particulars, the gist of the invention lying in a receptacle to contain peppcr or other substance which will act in simi lar manner, combined with suitable mechanism for distributing the pepper to fill the room and the eyes of the intruder.
