I claim as new and desire'to secure by Let ters Iatentfv l. The turning of the Wings or sails from a vertical to a horizontal position, and vice versa, by meansof the teeth e on the shafts v D and the projections t' on the adjustable or' sliding plates K, or the. equivalents of said' teeth and projections, when used Awith the vplates K, to 4operate substantially as and for the purpose set forth.
2. The bands n, provided with tcerhvin .connection with the catches G, attached to the slides l'I for the purpose of retaining or holding the Wingsl or sails during the intervals between their adjustment, substantially as described.v
3. The projections j j at the inner'sides of the plates K, in combination with theslides H, lto which `the catches G are attached, all arran ged, Isubstantially as shown, for releasing the shafts D and admitting ofthe turning ot' the Wings or sails, as set forth.
