v AGENT ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT N MOXACAUTERY AND ACUPUNCTURE This invention relates to an electrical instrument for medical treatment on moxacautery and acupuncture which utilizes the principles of the moxacautery and the acupuncturation.
Where a patient feels hot when the gearwheel of the electrical instrument of subject invention which is under heated condition touches slightly, is the affected part where the nerve is out of balance. When the affected part is found the gearwheel of the electrical instrument of subject invention is applied all around the affected part evenly and the skin of the affected part receives a stimulus the same as that obtained by moxacautery and acupuncturation from the heated gearwheel. As the result of applying the stimulus, the autonomy nerve dominating the internal organs of the patient is activated to increase the cellular operation to the effect that some remedial effect can be expected in which the disease in the internal organs is completely cured.
FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the electrical instrument for medical treatment on moxacautery and acupuncture, and
FIG. 2 is a side elevation view of the electrical instrument shown in FIG. 1 with partially sectioned.
In FIG. I and FIG. 2, an electric heater 3 is encased in a heater casing 4 with some thermal-conductive material 10 therebetween, the two ends of the electric heater are connected to an electrical source (not shown) through a pair of lead wires 1 which are inserted into a handle 2 affixed to one side of the heater casing.
At the lower side of the heater casing, a plurality of star gearwheels 5 are freely rotatably mounted in parallel to each other on a bracket arm projecting from the bottom of the heater casing, and, at the upper side of the heater casing, a plurality of rubbing rollers 7 with finely knurled surface 6 like a roulette are freely rotatably mounted in parallel to each other on another bracket arm projecting from the top of the heater casing.
A projection 8 is provided on a surface of the heater casing preferably at the opposite side of the handle and a switch 9 is mounted on the handle to control the circuit from the electrical source to the electrical heater.
In operation, electric heater 3 is connected to an electrical source by means of switch 9 to heat star gearwheels 5 and rubbing rollers 7 through thermal conduction to an extent that when hot star gearwheels 5 stimulate the nerves at an affected part an acupuncture effect or a moxacautery effect is obtained to remedy the affected part. After the acupuncturation and the moxacautery treatment, the skin at the affected part is rubbed by hot rubbing rollers 7 to effect facial treatment rapidly and lightly.
In operation, when heated projection 8 presses the skin at an affected part, the heat penetrates into the skin deeply to provide acupuncture and moxacautery treatment. Switch 9 can control the heat quantity delivered from the electrical source to the electrical heater to moderate the temperature of the electrical heater to an appropriate value for the skin of the affected part.
In using the star gearwheels, the rubbing rollers and the projection all under heated condition a remarkable medical treatment can be obtained by the electrical instrument of subject invention.
What is claimed is:
1. An electrical instrument for medical treatment on moxacautery and acupuncture comprising:
a heater casing with an electric heater encased therein,
a plurality of star gearwheel mounted on a bracket arm projecting from the bottom of said heater casing,
a plurality of rubbing rollers with finely knurled surface mounted on another bracket arm projecting from the top of said heater casing,
a projection provided on a surface of said heater casing, and
a handle affixed to one side of said heater casing.
