GLOVE OR MITTEN.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 280,823, dated July 10, 1883. Application filed May 29,1882. (No model.)
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, LAZARUS HOFFMAN, a
citizen of the United States, and residing in the city of Columbus, county of Franklin, and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Gloves or Mittens; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 represents a glove embodying my invention; Fig. 2, a leather glove of the ordinary construction; Fig. 3, a mitten of leather, and of, the ordinary construction; and Fig. 4 a mitten constructed in. accordance with my invention;
The object of the present invention is to provide aglove or mitten that will take the place of the ordinary leather ones, and will possess greater strength and durability, and, there being no seams, will not rip; and the invention therefore consists in a glove or mitten formed of leather twine, as hereinafter described.
