This reinforcing binding may be extended downwardly at its inner edges sufficiently far to permit stitching to secure the same in position. The outer sleeve is riveted or otherwise secured to the metal loop I4 intermediate of the folds.

By the above structure, I am enabled to provide an extremely lightweight pocketed golf club carrying structure readily transportable as a unit in itself. In addition to the pockets for the :golf

clubs, I provide a supplemental pocket l5 which may be formed of canvas or like material and secured through the outer and inner sleeves directly to the frame, preferably to one of the vertical braces 4. Likwise, a carrying handle I6 may be secured directly to one of the frame pieces 4 as Well as a carrying strap [1, Near the lower end of the structure above described; and on the" brace opposite the brace to which the handle-L6 1 and strap [1 are secured, I mount a wheeled carrying bracket [8. The bracket is provided with a versely over the bottom stud'and swinging the transverse slot onto the upper stud. 'These studs may be headed-to prevent the displacement of the bracket or, as illustrated, wing nuts 23 are screw threaded upon the studs to securely clamp the bracket in position. r

The bracket has secured thereto er-transversely extending axle sleeve 24 and into the opposite ends of this axle sleeve 24 are inserted axles 25 removably carrying at their outer ends wheels, preferably of the rubber tiredtype, 26. The axles 25' are maintained in position, after having once;-

been inserted in the sleeve 24 by suitable cutters or other pins 21, which are adapted to pass through the sleeveand through the axles.

A second pair of studs 28 are secured to the upper portion of the frame and on these studs is removably mounted a handle 29. This handle 29 is provided with an angularly'disposed flatportion 39 having openings adapted to receive the ends of the studs 29 and being provided with wing nuts 3|, by which-the handle may be clamped in position, This handle is upwardly and rearwardly inclined from the club carryingstructure and at its outer end, is provided witha downturned hollow sleeve 32- having bifurcated ends 33, between which is pivotedon the pivot pin 34 a supporting leg 35. Normally, this leg is adapted to be maintained in its non-operative folded posi-- tion, as indicated in dotted lines, being maintained in this position by a suitable clip 36 on the handle 29, as well as by a latch 31, which comprises the T head of a T-shaped member, the stem 38 of which projects into the top of a'hollow leg 35. The head 31 operates in a slot 39 in the leg and is biased in a latching position by a coiled spring 40. In the'bifurcated legs 33, I provide a pair of notches 4| and 42 so positioned that when the head 31 snaps into the notch 4|, the leg 35 will be maintained in an upright supporting position. When, however, the leg is folded under the handle 29 until the bar 31 engages, in the notches 42, the leg will be maintained in position parallel and on the underside of the handle 29, this latch supplementing the clip 36.

I claim as my invention:

1. A golf club container comprising an elongated tubular rigid frame including a plurality of longitudinally extending spaced apart side ribs, a tubular sleeve embracing said frame, a plurality of longitudinally disposed parallel tubular club handle containers secured to the outer face of said sleeve, and a pair of supporting wheels removably secured to the lower end of one of said ribs.

A golf club container comprising an elongated tubular rigid frame including a plurality of longitudinally disposed spaced apart side ribs, a tubular sleeve embracing said frame, a plurality -of longitudinally disposed parallel tubular club handle containers secured to the outer face of said sleeve, a bracket removably secured to the lowerendo-f oneof said ribs, a transversely extending sleeve carried by said bracket, and a pair ofaxl'es, each having a wheel mounted thereon mounted in said sleeve. 7 3;A' golf club container comprising an elongated tubularrigid'frame including a plurality of longitudinally disposed spaced apart ribs, a sleeve surroundingsaid frame, anda plurality of longitudinally disposed parallel tubular club handle containers secured to the outer face of said sleeve, a pair of vertically aligned studs secured to the lower end of one of said ribs, a bracket removably-secured to said studs, and a pair of wheels having their axles supported from'said bracket." 1-

4. A golf 'club container comprising an elongated tubular rigid frame including a plurality of longitudinally disposed spaced apart ribs, a sleeve surrounding said frame, a plurality of longitudinally disposed parallel tubular club handlewontainerssecured on'the outer-face of said sleeve, a pair of vertically aligned studs secured to the bottom end ofone of said ribs, a bracket removably'secured to said studs and wheels having their axles mounted on said bracket, a second pair of vertically aligned studs secured to the upper'end of said last mentioned rib and a handle removably secured to said second pair ofstuds.
