My invention relates to a dispenser for packages, such as packages of cigarettes and the like,
and more particularly my invention relates to a combination of display and dispensing device adapted to attractively and fully display .mer-
chandise and make such merchandise available for ready dispensing. 1
It is the object of my invention to provide a new and novel display and dispensing device.
It is a further object of my invention t provide a novel dispensing and display device for a multiplicity of small packages such as cigarette packages.
It is a further object of my invention to provide a dispensing device readily accessible for quick dispensing without disarrangement of the display.

By reason of the particular construction described, a space is also provided behind the dispensingunit 2B and between the side members I I and 12 for the storing of packages to be used in refilling the unit 2|]. The cigarette packages are very desirably displayed through the transparent display unit20 and at the sametime are properly, held in dispensing position, available for ready dispensing from the upper portionthereof assisted by the ready manipulation through the slot in the rear of the unit 20.
Various modifications of this invention will suggest themselves to those skilled in the art. Accordingly I desire thatin construing the breadth of the appended claims that they shall not be limited to the specific ,details shown and described in connection withthe above explanation.

A'display and dispensing stand comprising a base, two support members mounted and secured upon said base, a plastic display unit mounted and secured upon said support members, said display unit comprising in one piece a transparent front wall portion, two integral side portions and two integral rear portions, the total width of said rear portions being less than the width. of said front surface so as to provide a slot in the back;
of said display unit and make accessible for manipulation the goods contained within said dis play unit, and side wall members mounted and secured upon said base.
