sciai s. (01. 119-61) This invention relates to feed troughs, and particularly to feed troughs of the character employed for feeding poultry or the like, although it would be of utility in conserving food, regardless of the nature of its use.

It is an object of this invention to provide a trough for containing food and to associate it with a hollow base, to which food escaping from the trough would be directed, collected and reclaimed so that it maybe restored or returned to the trough.

It is a further object of the invention to provide a hollow base with a suitable mounting or support for a trough and the provision'of deflecting plates suspended from the edges of the trough, which deflecting plates extend .downwardly into an opening in the hollow base, which hollow base may contain a drawer slidable therein which, upon removal from the hollow base, may be manipulated to return its contents to the trough.
