My invention relates to tooth cleaning devices and more particularly to such devices as are adapt to be supported on and manipulated by the finger.

A few of, the objects of my invention are to provide a finger stall type of tooth cleansing device which has a highly efiicient scrubbing action on the teeth; one which is easy to use and keep clean; one which has a long useful life; and one which is relatively inexpensive to manufacture.

The manner of accomplishing the foregoing objects as well as further objects and advantages will be understood from the following description taken together with the in which:

Referring specifically to the drawing, the preferred form of my invention is seen to comprise a cleaner' l comprising a woven or knitted tube ll having an end l2 thereof closed tightly and an end I3 thereof open. This tube H is preferably.

The cleaner Ill may be impregnated with cleansing material or some other material which it is desired to apply, or; it may be free from any such material depending uponlthe particular useto be made of the invention.

What I claim is:

1. As an article of manufacture, a cleaning device, comprising: a tube formed of knitted material with a heavy pile formed on the outer surface thereof, said tube being closed at one end and having an aperture provided therein substantially midway'between the ends thereof for the insertion ofthe finger into the closed end thereof to provide a finger stall, the remaining length of said tube serving as a handle.

2. As an article of manufacture, a cleaning device, comprising a tube formed of fabric and having one end thereof closed, there being an opening provided therein inbetween theend portions thereof for the insertion of the finger into the aforesaid closed end thereof to provide a finger stall, the 'remaining length of said tube serving as a handle.

3. As an article of manufacture, a'cleaning device, comprising a tube formed of fabric and having one end thereof closed, there being a button hole opening provided therein in between the end portions thereof for the insertion of the finger into the aforesaid closed end thereof to provide a finger stall, the remaining length of said tube serving as a handle.
