Description
- The application claims priority to Chinese patent application No. 202110607386.2, filed on Jun. 1, 2021, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
- The present disclosure relates to the technical field of hydrocarbon reservoir exploitation research, and specifically to a high-temperature and high-pressure equipment and method for microscopic visual sulfur deposit seepage test, which is suitable for the experimental study of microscopic sulfur deposit seepage in high-sulfur-bearing gas reservoirs under simulated formation conditions.
- High-sulfur-bearing gas reservoir is a special type of sour gas reservoir that is mainly characterized by deep burial depth, high hydrogen sulfide content and great geothermal gradient. Hydrogen sulfide is an important industrial raw material with high economic value, but the hydrogen sulfide existing in natural gas exposes a detrimental effect on the exploration, development and utilization of natural gas. In the process of exploitation, with the decrease of pressure and temperature, the solubility of sulfur in sour gas decreases, and elemental sulfur precipitates out. Some of them migrate with the gas flow and some of them are deposited in the formation, blocking the seepage channel of natural gas and reducing the formation permeability, evening forming sulfur plugging in serious cases, which seriously affects the productivity of gas wells in high-sulfur-bearing gas reservoirs.
- At present, there are many microscopic seepage test devices and methods, but the microscopic seepage tests on high-sulfur-bearing gas are only involved in the evaluation of the sulfur deposit rate from the perspective of damage to formation permeability, but rarely related to visually observation of the sulfur deposition process. Moreover, the conventional microscopic seepage devices do not consider the risk of sulfur, the heating of the microscopic seepage test devices is uncontrollable, and the observation of seepage process and the control and detection of pressure and flow rate are not accurate sufficiently.
- The purpose of the present disclosure is to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art and provide a high-temperature and high-pressure equipment and method for microscopic visual sulfur deposit seepage test. The equipment is simple in structure and safe in operation, and can monitor the seepage process in real time to obtain the curve on the relationship between the sulfur deposit rate and the effective stress, and study the microscopic pore distribution and the microscopic sulfur deposit rate.
- The purpose of the present disclosure is achieved through the following technical solutions:
