- The disclosure relates to glove devices and more particularly pertains to a new glove device for storing a user's personal objects while wearing gloves.
- The prior art relates to glove devices including a variety of gloves with pocket positioned on a bottom side of a palm of the glove. The prior art discloses a glove with a plurality of pouches being distributed on fingers, a thumb and a palm of the glove.
- An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a glove for wearing on a user's hand. The glove is comprised of an anti-bacterial material to protect the user's hand from bacteria. The glove is comprised of a launderable material to facilitate the glove to be washed and used multiple times. A pouch is coupled to the glove to store the user's personal objects.
- There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
- The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective in-use view of a reusable protective glove assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a top view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a bottom view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a left side view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 5 is a back view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 6 is a cross sectional view taken along line 6-6 ofFIG. 2 of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 6 thereof, a new glove device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 6 , the reusable protective glove assembly 10 generally comprises aglove 12 for wearing on a user's hand. Theglove 12 may be comprised of an anti-bacterial material to protect the user's hand from bacteria. Theglove 12 is comprised of a launderable material, such as cotton or other type of textile, thereby facilitating theglove 12 to be washed and used multiple times. Theglove 12 has apalm portion 14, a plurality offingers 16 and athumb 18, and thepalm portion 14 has atop side 20. Theglove 12 may be manufactured in a variety of sizes to fit a variety of hand sizes. - A
pouch 22 is coupled to theglove 12 for store the user's personal objects. In this way the user's personal objects can be easily retrieved while the user is wearing a pair of the glove 12 s. Additionally, glove 12 is protected from being potentially torn from reaching into the user's pants pocket to retrieve the personal objects. Thepouch 22 is positioned on thetop side 20 of thepalm portion 14 of theglove 12 and thepouch 22 has afirst surface 24 and adistal edge 26. A substantial length of thedistal edge 26 is coupled to thetop side 20 of thepalm portion 14 having thefirst surface 24 facing thetop side 20. Thedistal edge 26 has anupper side 28 and theupper side 28 of thedistal edge 26 is free from thetop side 20 to define an opening 30 into thepouch 22. - A
first mating member 32 is coupled to thetop side 20 of thepalm portion 14 of theglove 12. Thefirst mating member 32 is positioned beneath thepouch 22 and thefirst mating member 32 is aligned with theupper side 28 of thedistal edge 26 of thepouch 22. Asecond mating member 34 is coupled to thefirst surface 24 of thepouch 22 and thesecond mating member 34 is aligned with theupper side 28 of thedistal edge 26 of thepouch 22. Thesecond mating member 34 is matable to thefirst mating member 32 for closing the opening 30 into thepouch 22. Each of thefirst mating member 32 and thesecond mating member 34 may comprise a hook and loop fastener or other type of releasable fastener. - In use, a pair of the
gloves 12 is worn to protect the user's hands from contact with bacteria. The user can store personal objects in thepouch 22 on eitherglove 12 while the user is wearing thegloves 12. In this way the personal objects can be retrieved without requiring the user to reach into the user's pants pocket, or other similar location, to retrieve the objects. In this way access to the personal objects is enhanced while thegloves 12 are being worn. Thegloves 12 can be laundered at any time thereby facilitating thegloves 12 to be continually re-used. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
