Abstract
A compact container using magnets, and has a middle case and an upper case that are rotatably coupled through screw coupling, thereby improving the air-tightness of the interior thereof. When the screw coupling between the upper case and the middle case is released, the upper case is fixed to the upper end of the middle case while forming with at least 90 degrees of angle to the middle case via the magnet such that the above configuration can reduce assembly time by avoiding the traditional hinge structure and improve productivity.
Description
- The present disclosure relates to a compact container using magnets, wherein a middle case and an upper case are rotatably coupled through screw coupling, thereby improving the air-tightness of the interior thereof; when the screw coupling between the upper case and the middle case is released, the upper case is fixed to the upper end of the middle case while forming with at least 90 degrees of angle to the middle case via the magnet such that the above configuration can reduce assembly time by avoiding the traditional hinge structure and improve productivity.
- Generally, a compact container refers to an article that stores color cosmetics or powder used for facial makeup while women are conveniently carrying the article.
- This typical “compact container” is disclosed in in Korean Patent No. 20-0372923 (Hereafter it is referred as ‘the registered utility model’).
- The registered utility model is characterized to comprise an inner container (10), a container body (20) with the inner container installed, an inner cover (30) formed with a power puff (31) at an upper portion and hinge-coupled to one side of the container body, and an outer cover (40) hinge-coupled to one side of an upper surface of the container body (20) and provided with a lock part which can be locked and unlocked to an opposite direction.
- Like the registered utility model in the above, typical compact containers, without exception, has an inner container which receives and stores color cosmetics or powder contents. To use, a user opens an outer cover (40) hinge-coupled to one side of the container body (20) from the container body (20) by a hinge swiveling, smears cosmetics by means of a make-up device such as a puff or a brush, and applies cosmetics on her face. In this type of structure results in problems of increasing assembly time and lowering productivity.
- Meanwhile, recently there has been an increasing tendency to accommodate the urethane foam impregnated with liquid contents in the interior, and also various sealing structures are being developed in order to solve the problem that contents stored in a contents storage part are leaked during a decompression test due to the limitation of sealing structures.
- The present disclosure is directed to solving the problems described in the above, and the objectives of the disclosed embodiments are to provide a compact container using magnets, wherein a middle case and an upper case are rotatably coupled through screw coupling, thereby improving the air-tightness of the interior thereof; when the screw coupling between the upper case and the middle case is released, the upper case is fixed to the upper end of the middle case while forming with at least 90 degrees of angle to the middle case via the magnet such that the above configuration can reduce assembly time by avoiding the traditional hinge structure and improve productivity.
- To solve the above-mentioned problems, a compact container using magnets according to the disclosed embodiments includes a lower case which is provided with a contents storage part to store contents; a middle case which is coupled to the lower case and provided with a first screw thread at an inner circumferential surface thereof; a sealing member hinge-coupled to the middle case such that an contents application member can be received at an upper portion thereof; and an upper case including a cover part covering an upper portion of the middle case and a coupling part coupled a second screw thread which is coupled to an inner side of the cover part and forming a second screw thread to be screw-coupled with a first screw thread of the middle case, and detachably screw-coupled to the middle case,
- characterized in that the upper case forms an angle of at least 90° to the middle case via a magnet in a state of being released from screw-coupling and being separated from the middle case, thereby being fixed to an upper end of the middle case.
- Furthermore, it is characterized in that an upper end of the middle case forms a downward slope from an inner side direction to an outer side direction and forms a curved surface.
- Furthermore, it is characterized in that at one of sides of the middle case is provided a securing part forming a depression so as to correspond to the curved surface.
- Furthermore, it is characterized in that at the upper case is provided an upper magnet which is fixed to an inner side of the securing part, and at the upper case is provided a lower magnet which fixes the securing part of the upper case to the curved surface of the middle case by a magnetic attraction with the upper magnet.
- Furthermore, it is characterized in that at the upper case is provided an upper magnet which is fixed at an inner side of the securing part, and a curved surface of an upper end of the middle case is made of metal material, such that the securing part of the upper case is fixed to a curved surface of the middle case, which is made of metal material, by magnetic force of the upper magnet.
- Furthermore, it is characterized in that at the middle case is provided a lower magnet which is fixed to an inner side of the curved surface, and the securing part of the upper case is made of metal material, such that the securing part of the upper case made of metal material is fixed to the curved surface of the middle case by a magnetic force of the lower magnet.
- Furthermore, it is characterized in that at an inner side of the upper case are provided a pair of fixation protrusions which form a space where the upper magnet is inserted, and are respectively contacted with both sides of the upper magnet and fix the upper magnet to an inner side of the securing part.
- Furthermore, it is characterized in that at an upper surface of the coupling part are provided a multitude of protrusions which are separated in a predetermined distance to be rotated with the rotation of the cover part, and at a lower surface of the cover part are provided a multitude of rotation-guiding protrusions which are placed to be interlocked with a multitude of the protrusions.
- Furthermore, it is characterized in that at the lower case is provided a support part which encases the contents storage part, separated in a predetermined distance from the contents storage part, and supports a lower end of the lower magnet.
- As described in the above, the presently described embodiments are configured in that a middle case and an upper case are coupled in a rotation type through screw coupling, thereby improving the air-tightness of the interior thereof; when the screw coupling between the upper case and the middle case is released, the upper case is fixed to the upper end of the middle case while forming an angle of at least 90° to the middle case via the magnet such that it is possible to reduce assembly time by avoiding the typical hinge structure and to improve productivity.

FIG. 7 is explanatory views illustrating a method using a compact container using magnets according to the third exemplary embodiment. - Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The same reference numerals provided in the drawings indicate the same members.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a configuration of a compact container using magnets according to the first exemplary embodiment.FIG. 2 is an assembled perspective view illustrating a configuration of a compact container using magnets according to the first exemplary embodiment.FIG. 3 is an assembled cross-sectional view illustrating a configuration of a compact container using magnets according to the first exemplary embodiment. - Referring to
FIGS. 1 to 3 , a compact container using magnets according to an exemplary embodiment may include alower case 100, amiddle case 200, a sealingmember 300, and anupper case 400. - The
lower case 100 is provided with acontents storage part 110 for contents to be stored, wherein contents stored in thecontents storage part 110 are composed ofcontents absorption member 500 impregnated with a solid fact type or liquid type contents, wherein thecontents absorption member 500 can be made of various kinds, such as puff, sponge, foam, and brush, preferably a porous material which can easily absorb contents. - Furthermore, a
coupling protrusion 111 is provided at an outer circumferential surface of thecontents storage part 110 for being able to be coupled with amiddle case 200. - Meanwhile, at the
lower case 100 is provided asupport part 120 which encases thecontents storage part 110, is separated from thecontents storage part 110, and supports a lower end of alower magnet 240, to be described later. - The
middle case 200, which is coupled to an upper portion of thelower case 100, is provided with anextension part 210 which forms a space, where alower magnet 240 is installed, extends toward a lower portion thereof, and is coupled to thecontents storage part 110 of thelower case 100. - In the described embodiments, it is characterized in that at an upper inner circumferential surface of the
middle case 200 is provided afirst screw thread 220 to be able to be screw-coupled with acoupling part 420 of theupper case 400. Anupper case 400 is configured to be attached and detached through a screw combination of afirst screw thread 220 and a second screw thread423 of thecoupling part 420, such that it is possible to avoid the coupling structure of themiddle case 200 and theupper case 400 by a traditional hinge-coupling, to reduce an assembling time in the manufacturing process and to improve productivity. - Furthermore, in a coupling process of the
first screw thread 220 and thesecond screw thread 423 of thecoupling part 420, an open upper end of thecontents storage part 110 is sealed by means that a lower end of thecoupling part 420 pressurizes an upper end of the sealingpart 300, such that contents stored in thecontents storage part 110 can be effectively prevented from being leaked. - Meanwhile, in the presently described embodiments, it is characterized in that an upper end of the
middle case 200 forms acurved surface 230 as forming a downward slope to an outer side direction from an inner side, and alower magnet 240 which fixes asecuring part 412 of theupper case 400 to thecurved surface 230 of themiddle case 200 0 is provided at an inner side of the curved surface 23. Thelower magnet 240 is configured to be placed over the entire surface of thecurved surface 230 from an inner side of thecurved surface 230. Due to this, after separating theupper case 400 from themiddle case 200, when contacting thesecuring part 412 of theupper case 400 to any place of thecurved surface 230, it is possible that theupper case 400 can be fixed. - The
curved surface 230 forms an angle where theupper case 400 is fixed. It is preferable to form acurved surface 230 which can be fixed at an upper end of themiddle case 200 in a state that theupper case 400 can be fixed with at least 90 degrees of angle slanted such that a user can look at amirror 411 of theupper case 400 while applying makeup. - Meanwhile, when an upper end of the
middle case 200 forms a plate surface instead of acurved surface 230, theupper case 400 is possible to be fixed in an angle of 90 degree with themiddle case 200. - The sealing
member 300, hinge-coupled to themiddle case 200 to be able to open/close an open upper end of thecontents storage part 110, is provided with ahandle part 310 at a front surface thereof to make manipulation easy when swiveled upwards and downwards by hinge-coupling, and areception groove 320 is provided at an upper portion thereof such thatcontents application member 600 such as puff can is received. - The
upper case 400, encasing thecontents application member 600 and detachably screw-coupled to themiddle case 200, includes acover part 410 and acoupling part 420. - The
cover part 410, covering an upper portion of themiddle case 200, is provided with amirror 411 at an inner side thereof such that a user can check her face while applying makeup. - In the described embodiments, it is characterized in that a
securing part 412 is formed with depression at one side of a side surface of thecover part 410 to be corresponded to thecurved surface 230, and anupper magnet 413, which fixes thesecuring part 412 to thecurved surface 230 of themiddle case 200 by a magnetic force with thelower magnet 240, is provided at an inner side of thesecuring part 412. Theupper magnet 413 is placed at inner side of thesecuring part 412, such that it is possible that theupper case 400 can be fixed to thecurved surface 230 with at least 90 degrees angle slated by contacting thesecuring part 412 to themiddle case 200 after separating theupper case 400 from themiddle case 200. - The
securing part 412 is made of a shape which corresponds to thecurved surface 230 of themiddle case 200, such that it is possible to steadily fix without the movement of theupper case 400 when contacting with thecurved surface 230. - Meanwhile, at an inner side of the
cover part 410 is provided a pair ofprotrusions 414 which forms a space where theupper magnet 413 is inserted, are respectively contacted to both sides of theupper magnet 413, and fix theupper magnet 413 to an inner side of thesecuring part 412. In the described embodiments, it was described that theupper magnet 413 is fixed by means of a pair ofprotrusions 414; however, it is possible to fix theupper magnet 413 to an inner side of thecover part 410 by means of a variety of fixing devices. - Furthermore, at a lower surface of the
cover part 410 is provided a multitude of rotation-guidingprotrusion 415 which are placed to be interlocked with a multitude ofprotrusions 422 of acoupling part 420 to be described later, wherein, since the rotation-guidingprotrusions 415 andprotrusions 422 are placed in a state of being interlocked, thecoupling part 420 rotated with the rotation of thecover part 410 when a user grabs and rotates thecover part 410. - The
coupling part 420, coupled to an inner side of thecover part 410, forms apenetration hole 421 such that amirror 411 can be penetratingly installed, wherein a multitude ofprotrusions 422, which are interlocked with the rotation-guidingprotrusions 415, are provided at an upper surface thereof so as to be rotated with the rotation of thecover part 410. - In the described embodiments, it is characterized in that a
second screw thread 423 is formed at thecoupling part 420 so as to be screw-coupled with afirst screw thread 220 of themiddle case 200. When thecover part 410 is rotated, thecoupling part 420 is rotated along with the rotation of thecover part 410. Due to this, thefirst screw thread 220 and thesecond screw thread 423 are coupled or released from the screw coupling, such that it is possible to attach and detach theupper case 400 from themiddle case 200. - A lower end of the
coupling part 420 pressurizes an upper end of the sealingmember 300 in a process of being screw-coupled to themiddle case 200. Due to this, an open upper end of thecontents storage part 110 is sealed, such that it is possible to effectively prevent the contents stored in thecontents storage part 110 from being leaked. - Hereafter, with a reference of
FIGS. 4A, 4B, 5A, and 5B , a using method of a compact container using magnets according to the first exemplary embodiment will be described. Referring toFIGS. 4A, 4B, 5A, and 5B , - When grabbing the
middle case 200 and rotating thecover part 410 with one hand in a state of thefirst screw thread 220 of themiddle case 200 and thesecond screw thread 423 of thecoupling part 420 are screw-coupled, thecoupling part 420 which are coupled to an inner side of thecover part 410 rotates together. Due to this, thesecond screw thread 423 and thefirst screw thread 220 of themiddle case 200 are released from the screw coupling, and thereby theupper case 400 is separated from themiddle case 200. - As in the above, after separating the
upper case 400 from themiddle case 200, when placing the securingpart 412 at thecurved surface 230 of themiddle case 200 to meet each other, theupper case 400 can be fixed to thecurved surface 230 of themiddle case 200 by magnetic attraction between theupper magnet 413 provided at an inner side of the securingpart 412 and thelower magnet 240 provided at an inner side of thecurved surface 230. At this time, due to a structure of thecurved surface 230 which has a downward slope to an outer side direction from an inner side of the upper end of themiddle case 200, theupper case 400 can be fixed with at least 90 degrees of angle to themiddle case 200. - Next, after taking out the
contents application member 600 from thereception groove 320, opening the sealingmember 300, and smearing contents absorbed in thecontents absorption member 500, a user can apply contents, looking at themirror 411. - Namely, the described embodiments are configured in that, when the
upper case 400 and themiddle case 200 are screw-coupled or released from screw coupling, theupper case 400 forms with at least 90 degrees of angle slanted to themiddle case 200 by means of magnets and is fixed to an upper end of themiddle case 200. Therefore, it is possible to avoid a traditional hinge structure and provide a new structure of a compact container. - Meanwhile, referring to
FIG. 6 , a compact container using magnets according to the second exemplary embodiment is characterized in that at theupper case 400 is provided theupper magnet 413 fixed at an inner side of the securingpart 412, and an upper end of thecurved surface 230 is made of metal material, wherein the securingpart 412 of theupper case 400 can be fixed to thecurved surface 230 of themiddle case 200 by magnetic attraction of theupper magnet 413. - Furthermore, referring
FIG. 7 , a compact container using magnets according to the third exemplary embodiment is characterized in that at themiddle case 200 is provided thelower magnet 240 fixed at an inner side of thecurved surface 230, and the securingpart 412 of theupper case 400 is made of metal material, wherein the securingpart 412 of theupper case 400 can be fixed to thecurved surface 230 of themiddle case 200 by magnetic attraction of theupper magnet 413. - As in the second and the third exemplary embodiment, in case of installing a magnet at only either of the
middle case 200 or theupper case 400, it is possible to fix theupper case 400 to an upper end of themiddle case 200 by composing the other side with various materials which contains metal to be stuck to a magnet. - As described above, optimal embodiments have been disclosed in the drawings and the specification. Although specific terms have been used herein, these are only intended to describe certain embodiments and are not intended to limit the meanings of the terms or to restrict the scope of the accompanying claims. Therefore, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications and other equivalent embodiments are possible from the above embodiments. Therefore, the scope of the claims should be defined by the technical spirit of the description above.
Claims (9)
1. A compact container using magnets, comprising:
a lower case provided with a contents storage part to store contents;
a middle case coupled to the lower case and provided with a first screw thread at an inner circumferential surface thereof;
a sealing member hinge-coupled to the middle case such that a contents application member can be received at an upper portion thereof; and
an upper case, comprising a cover part which covers an upper portion of the middle case and a coupling part coupled with a second screw thread which is coupled to an inner side of the cover part and forming a second screw thread to be screw-coupled with a first screw thread of the middle case and detachably screw-coupled to the middle case,
wherein the upper case forms at least 90° degree of angle to the middle case via a magnet in a state of being released from screw-coupling and being separated from the middle case, thereby being fixed to an upper end of the middle case.
2. The compact container using magnets of claim 1 ,
wherein an upper end of the middle case forms a downward slope from an inner side direction to an outer side direction and forms a curved surface.
3. The compact container using magnets of claim 2 ,
wherein at one of sides of the middle case is provided a securing part formed with a depression so as to correspond to the curved surface.
4. The compact case of claim 3 ,
wherein at the upper case is provided an upper magnet which is fixed to an inner side of the securing part, and at the upper case is provided a lower magnet which fixes the securing part of the upper case to the curved surface of the middle case by a magnetic attraction to the upper magnet.
5. The compact container using magnets of claim 3 ,
wherein at the upper case is provided an upper magnet which is fixed at an inner side of the securing part, and a curved surface of an upper end of the middle case is made of metal material, such that the securing part of the upper case is fixed to a curved surface, made of metal material, of the middle case by a magnetic force of the upper magnet.
6. The compact container using magnets of claim 3 ,
wherein at the middle case is provided a lower magnet which is fixed to an inner side of the curved surface, and the securing part of the upper case is made of metal material, such that the securing part of the upper case made of metal material is fixed to the curved surface of the middle case by a magnetic force of the lower magnet.
7. The compact container using magnets of claim 1 ,
wherein at an inner side of the upper case are provided a pair of fixation protrusions which form a space where the upper magnet is inserted and are respectively contacted with both sides of the upper magnet and fix the upper magnet to an inner side of the securing part.
8. The compact container using magnets of claim
wherein at an upper surface of the coupling part are provided a multitude of protrusions which are separated in a predetermined distance to be rotated with the rotation of the cover part, and at a lower surface of the cover part are provided a multitude of rotation-guiding protrusions which are placed to be interlocked with a multitude of the protrusions.
9. The compact container using magnets of claim 1 ,
wherein at the lower case is provided a support part which encases the contents storage part, is separated in a predetermined distance from the contents storage part, and supports a lower end of the lower magnet.
