Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a pipe assembly, and more particularly to a quick release heat dissipation pipe assembly for a portable air conditioner that allows a flexible heat dissipating tube element to quickly attach to or detach from a window connection panel, which increases mobility of the portable air conditioner.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • A conventional portable air conditioner has a body, multiple wheels and a heat dissipation exhaust hole. The wheels are mounted under a bottom of the body. The heat dissipation exhaust hole is defined in a rear of the body and allows heated air inside the body to be discharged. The portable air conditioner with the wheels may be moved to an optimum position to efficiently condition indoor temperature.
  • To dissipate heat through the heat dissipation exhaust hole, the conventional portable air conditioner is connected to a flexible heat dissipating pipe. An outer end of the heat dissipating pipe is attached to an opening of a common window, a ventilation window, an air conditioner window, a wall or a door board such that heat of the operating portable air conditioner may be exhausted out of the building.
  • However, the windows to which the aforementioned flexible heat dissipating pipe is connected are different in sizes, positions and shapes, which disadvantage the connection between the flexible heat dissipating pipe and the windows without a suitable adapter. Therefore, an adapter panel is pre-installed to a window before the flexible heat dissipating pipe is connected to the window. The adapter panel has a connection hole defined though the adapter panel and connected to the outer end of the flexible heat dissipating pipe.
  • However, the flexible heat dissipating pipe is connected securely and un-detachably to the adapter panel. To move the portable air conditioner, a user must detach the adapter panel from the window in advance, which decreases convenience and mobility of the portable air conditioner.
  • To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention provides a quick release heat dissipation pipe assembly for a portable air conditioner to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The main objective of the invention is to provide a pipe assembly, and more particularly to a quick release heat dissipation pipe assembly for a portable air conditioner that allows a flexible heat dissipating tube element to quickly attach to or detach from a window connection panel, which increases mobility of the portable air conditioner.
  • A quick release heat dissipation pipe assembly in accordance with the present invention is connected to a portable air conditioner and an opening of a window and comprises a flexible heat dissipation pipe, a quick attachment collar, a quick release bushing and an adapter panel sequentially connected to one another. The quick release bushing is mounted quick detachably on the quick attachment collar. Therefore, the portable air conditioner may be attached to or detached from the opening of the window. The quick release heat dissipation pipe assembly excellently increases mobility of the portable air conditioner.
